'The Last Judgment Before the Great White Throne
The end-time judgment of the Great White Throne. The devil Satan has finally become the footstool of our Lord Jesus Christ. In an instant of a moment, Satan�䏭 kingdom is crushed and destroyed. He and his minions will be cast into the lake of fire for eternity. The ultimate victory goes to the King of kings and the Lord of lords�渄esus Christ. He is a conqueror! Hallelujah! Before He establishes a glorious kingdom that will never be shaken, He will judge the ungodly. The old heavens and old earth that has been defiled by the devil will be burned. �輶ut the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.�� (2 Pet 3:7��10). Our Lord Jesus Christ will sit on the great white throne to execute the end-time righteous judgment.
�𦯷nd has given Him (Jesus) authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth�𤴆hose who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation�� (John 5:27��29). There are two groups of the dead who will hear the voice of the Lord and rise. The first group is the Lord�䏭 friends, faithful servants and genuine Christians. Their resurrection will be filled with joy and glory. The second group is the Lord�䏭 enemies, non-believers and false Christians. Their resurrection will be filled with shame and distress. Believers are exempted from the second death (eternal damnation) and will gain the eternal life. Non-believers will not have eternal life. Their body, soul, and spirit will perish forever. Since you have the chance to accept Christ in this lifetime, grab hold of it. Don�脌 let this golden opportunity slip through your fingers. After you have accepted the Lord Jesus as your Savior, you still need to be filled with the Holy Spirit and live in God�䏭 will (abide by the Truth). Nominal Christians will also not escape the righteous discipline and punishment of God.
�嚹hen I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire�� (Rev. 20:11��15).
On that Day, all the ungodly (the nonbelievers and the nominal Christians) will rise from the dead for judgment. Death and Hades will give up the dead in them. (Death and Hades are the detention places for the souls of the ungodly. After death, the ungodly will be detained here until the end-time great judgment). Both small and great will be judged before the great white throne. During their lifetime, they would mock at the Lord and refuse to accept His love and salvation. Now before His majestic and righteous throne, they can only tremble in fear and dreadfully await judgment, conviction, and execution.
