The Passion Fruit Sink
Passion fruit was Mount Zion䏭 major cash crop in the early days. Cruciform poles were erected everywhere on the mountain to support the passion fruit vines. During the blooming and fruit bearing seasons, the white flowers would greet men with a radiant smile, and the branches would team with glossy green fruit. What a beautiful scene! When the fruits ripened, they would plop down happily onto the grasslands, embellishing the green carpet with golden and purple fruit. The joy of picking fruit filled the whole mountain. After the fruits were washed at the sink by the church premises, they were processed into juice along the hallway or inside the church premises. The fragrance of the passion fruit and the joyful shouts from the people of Zion filled the air. Thus began Mount Zion䏭 famous passion fruit juice.
